PRE-CARE TREATMENT
DERMAL FILLERS

Avoid NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen and naproxen), aspirin and any blood-thinning medications 1 week before your treatment. Alternative pain relief such as paracetamol can be used.

Avoid over the counter supplements such as fish oils, garlic tablets, St John’s Wort, ginger tablets, evening primrose tablets and any multivitamins containing vitamin A, C & E 1 week before your treatment.

Avoid alcohol 24 hours before and after your treatment.

Stay well hydrated on the day of your treatment and for the following 48 hours.

Avoid planning any treatments within 2 weeks of any special events.

Do not schedule any invasive procedures 2 weeks before or after your treatments. These include:

POST-CARE TREATMENT
ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS
Following your anti-wrinkle treatment, we recommend you observe the following guidelines to ensure the very best results and minimise unwanted side effects.

To reduce the risk of bruising, avoid alcohol intake, NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen and naproxen), aspirin and vigorous exercise for the first 24 hours following treatment.

Avoid putting make-up over the areas treated for the first 2 hours, and ensure to keep the treated area clean to avoid infection.
​

When washing the face, avoid rubbing, massaging or exfoliating the treated area for the 24 hours following treatment.
​

Avoid any extremes in temperature until any redness or swelling has resolved.
​

Avoid any facial treatments for 48 hours.
​

Anti-wrinkle treatments take on average 5-10 days to start taking effects, and it can take 2-3 weeks to see the full results. These time frames vary depending on the strength of the target muscle and each individual’s response to the product.

A review appointment is offered 2-4 weeks after your anti-wrinkle treatment, which is an opportunity to review your results and carry out any necessary tweaks.
